Chef Lewis Butler
Executive Chef
English-born Lewis Butler graduated from Summerset College of Applied Arts and Technology, winning five diplomas in the Cooking for the Catering Industry.

He began a long tenure with Four Seasons at the Hotel Ottawa in 1980. For 17 years, this talented culinarian shared his talents with Four Seasons hotels all over the country.

In July 1997, Butler was transferred as executive sous chef to the Four Seasons Atlanta. There he not only performed as executive sous chef, but as banquet chef as well.

In 2000, he found his way to Los Angeles with another Four Seasons transfer as executive sous chef. During his two-year stint, he was part of the culinary team which earned the hotel its AAA Five Diamond rating.

After working at Surf & Sand's sister property, San Diego's Rancho Bernardo Inn, Butler was welcomed to Surf & Sand Resort as Executive Chef.
