Among Surf & Sand Resort’s 10,000 square feet of meeting space is the Conference Center. Secluded from the resort’s Guest Rooms, it shows that Surf & Sand Resort is dedicated to serving larger groups and meetings. Your Event will be our first priority.

The venues at Surf & Sand Resort are bright, open Rooms with plantation shutters that let in the natural light. Custom decor and original artwork speak to the level of refinement offered here.
Beachfront Location
The beach is ideal for more than just vacations. When meeting attendees arrive at Surf & Sand Resort they will feel miles away from distractions and will be ready for productive meetings.
Your attendees will find their Guest Rooms to be luxurious retreats where they can relax and be ready for the day’s agenda. High-speed internet access and furniture that was custom-designed with business in mind make it easy to get work accomplished, too.
The Pelican Ballroom is the centerpiece of Surf & Sand Resort’s Conference Center.
This spacious room is highlighted by a vaulted ceiling, original artwork, and large, south-facing windows with plantation shutters let in plenty of California sunshine.
An adjacent pre-function foyer is graced with distinctive custom furnishings such as hardwood credenzas with marble tops. A terrace with a partial ocean view is an elegant venue for Catering and meeting breaks.
The Pelican’s location on the second floor of the Conference Center keeps it secluded from Guest Rooms and makes it ideal for large Social Events.

The Sandpiper Ballroom includes many of the amenities of the Pelican, but in a more intimate setting for smaller Events.
Located on the second floor of the Conference Center, its plantation shutters lead to two sets of double doors that open onto an outdoor patio for coffee breaks.
The soft tones of the decor allow the room to be decorated in a variety of ways to complement the style of any Social Event.

The Sand Dollar Ballroom is the Conference Center’s second-largest indoor venue. It opens onto a covered Mediterranean patio highlighted by elegant archways, and is easily reached from the resort’s Guest Rooms.

At the north end of the Conference Center’s ground floor is the Sand Castle room.
With a full wall of windows complemented by mirrored wall accents this is one of our brightest meeting spaces.
The Sand Castle’s French doors open onto a garden patio with a Mediterranean fountain as its centerpiece; a charming setting for a catered lunch.

Located just above the Sand Castle is the light and airy Starfish room. This room offers windows on two walls, and French doors that overlook the Aquaterra Courtyard.

The square, open floorplan of the Top of the Surf room makes it a very flexible space able to accommodate a wide range of functions.
Top of the Surf is possibly the most aesthetically pleasing indoor venue at Surf & Sand Resort. Windows with plantation shutters line three of the four walls, and offer extraordinary views up and down the coastline and of the hills of Laguna. It is an excellent choice for Social Events.

Each of these Rooms features a wall of windows to let in plenty of natural light, and to give a glimpse of the crashing waves through the plantation shutters.
The Rooms are located in the main building of the resort, giving them very convenient access to Guest Rooms.

Surf & Sand Resort’s dedicated boardroom is located on the Xth floor of the main building.
An ideal venue for small meetings and retreats, the Seahorse Room features a custom-made hardwood table and executive chairs.
