The New Year’s Eve menu at Splashes inside Laguna Beach’s Surf and Sand is not only an impressive one, but will leave you planning your next visit even before dessert is served. Dinner begins with Oysters with horseradish Ketel One granita and osetra caviar, Chestnut Risotto and Chayote & Brussels Sprouts, followed by Baba Ghanoush Soup or Baby Red Kale salad. As a choice of entree, guests have the option of Pacific Corvina, Diver Scallops, Duck Osso Bucco, Allspice-Smoked Bone-in Filet or Nantes Carrot. For dessert, who can pass up Pot du Creme, Sticky Pear Tart or Strawberry Celebration? Reservations required. $125 per person.
